An internship of about five months at Volvo Car Corporation in the final year of my Master's, on electromagnetic compatibility and computer-aided engineering for vehicle electrification.
What I did
Electromagnetic-compatibility (EMC) analysis for electrified vehicle systems.
Computer-aided engineering (CAE) simulation in support of EMC work.
Working with conducted and radiated emissions and the limits set by the standards.
Collaborating with engineers in a large automotive company.
Context
It ran alongside my Master's thesis on EMC challenges in wide-bandgap electric drives, connecting the thesis topic with how EMC is handled inside a car maker.
